Lancaster tenders £6m housing contract

Lancaster City Council is seeking a contractor to refurbish nearly 4,000 homes in its housing stock.

The five-year, £6m contract would cover a programme of improvement works including external refurbishment, repointing/re-rendering, kitchen/bathroom refurbishment, re-roofing, rewiring, and environmental improvements.

The work will be carried out in partnership with the in-house contractor. The annual budget for the capital programme is in the region of £3m which will be split 60:40 internal:external partner.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 27 February.
