Laing O’Rourke subsidiary ends long search in Northwich

Select Plant Hire, part of construction giant Laing O'Rourke, has taken 96,000 sq ft for storage space in Wincham, near Northwich.

The letting by Bluemantle brings Select Plant Hire's two year search for suitable accommodation in the North West to an end. A ten-year lease, at £350,000 a year, includes over six-acres of external storage at the second-hand site, on Wincham Industrial Estate with access to the A556, A559 and M56.

CB Richard Ellis and Jones Lang LaSalle acted for the landlord. Paul Cook, associate director at CBRE, said: "In an environment where quality industrial space with large external storage is increasingly hard to find, companies with specific requirements must often look long and hard to find the right space.

"We are delighted to have been able to help Select Plant Hire find accommodation that fits the bill."

Laing O'Rourke's in-house team represented Select Plant Hire.
