Lab supplier completes new HQ

Hiden Isochema, a manufacturer of scientific instruments, has opened a 15,000 sq ft headquarters in Warrington built by Williams Tarr Group.

The new facility in Europa Boulevard contains a manufacturing facility, offices and demonstration and contract measurement laboratories.

The Hiden group now has two facilities in Gemini Business Park, the other being Hiden Analytical, and plans to create a campus as the business expands.

Hiden Isochema worked closely with Warrington & Co to develop the site for its new headquarters. Steve Park, managing director of Warrington & Co, said: "Working with companies such as Hiden Isochema is a key part of the work we do at Warrington & Co. Not only are we working hard with our partners to attract new businesses to Warrington but it is also very important we work closely with firms based here to make sure we meet their needs for office space here instead of them leaving the town."

Ian Neale, chairman of Hiden Isochema, said: "Hiden has been based in Warrington since sister-company Hiden Analytical was founded in 1981 and we are proud to remain here as our business expands. The new Hiden Isochema headquarters are a fantastic asset and we look forward to welcoming our customers from all over the world to Warrington."

Hiden exports 90% of its sales.
