Knowlsey seeks lift suppliers

Knowsley Council wants to establish a framework agreement with several companies for the maintenance, supply and installation of lifts on properties in the borough.

The council said the framework agreement is expected to last three years and will be divided into three lots, with the total cost of contracts over the period ranging between £850,000 and £1.15m.

The council said that personal stairlifts at houses and ceiling lifts are required to help disabled people living in the properties.

Deadline for submitting tenders is 12pm on Thursday 26 August.
