Knight Knox continues Salford resi push

Knight Knox International has submitted plans for the redevelopment of the former Hyde Park Corner pub in Salford into a block of apartments.

The 38-flat scheme will deliver a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments in a four-storey building, set around a private landscaped courtyard.

The 0.5-acre site on the corner of Blackburn Street and Silk Street is currently occupied by the derelict former pub buildings which will be demolished.

Sheffield-based Coda Studios is the architect.

Hyde Park Corner is the second application from Knight Knox and Coda in as many months for a residential development in Salford.

Plans for a 133-apartment scheme in Trafford Road next to Knight Knox and X1 Developments’ X1 The Exchange were submitted in August.
