Knight Frank takes investment partner from Jones Lang

Office investment specialist Steven Carrick is to join the Knight Frank investment team in Manchester as partner, leaving Jones Lang LaSalle where he worked for eight years in two terms.

He will work alongside Abid Jaffry, partner, in Knight Frank's North West investment team. David Porter, joint head of Knight Frank in the North West, said: "Steven has extensive knowledge and experience of the North West investment market. His arrival will enhance our position as we aggressively seek to grow our market share."

Carrick said: "Joining Knight Frank allows me the opportunity to drive forward the investment division with the existing team. I am looking forward to some exciting times ahead."

Carrick started at Jones Lang Wootton where he began his career through its graduate training programme based in Manchester. In 2001 he moved to its Leeds office to focus on office agency, and in 2004 returned to Manchester to join CB Richard Ellis' Manchester office to initially continue office agency, moving across to the investment department in 2005. In 2006, he rejoined Jones Lang LaSalle to increase the acquisition side of its investment business.
