Knight Frank hires from JLL

Knight Frank has appointed David Whitney from Jones Lang LaSalle as senior surveyor in Manchester, joining the workplace and building consultancy department.

Whitney joined JLL as part of the takeover of King Sturge last year. At Knight Frank he will work with Simon Matley, partner, and James Ingle, surveyor. He has nine years' experience, specialising in contract administration and dilapidations.

Matley said: "I'm delighted to welcome David to our growing team in Manchester. David will work with existing and new clients to help progress the business in the North West. David will work closely with me in providing varied advice, from dilapidations to managing refurbishment work as well as expanding our Workplace Consultancy business advising tenants on relocation strategies and fit out."

Meanwhile, Knight Frank said undergraduate David Crawford has begun a year's work placement from Sheffield Hallam University working under Charles Ardern.
