The property consultancy has expanded its Manchester office with four appointments, including two associates, a senior surveyor and a graduate surveyor.
Nick Platt joined from Rapleys and has been appointed as an associate in the project and building consultancy team. With experience of the automotive industry, he will focus on developing this service offering for Knight Frank across the North West, as well as helping to develop the team’s project management capabilities and servicing building surveying instructions.
The property asset management team has welcomed Claire Smith from DTZ as an associate. With more eight years’ experience, Claire has a strong track record in building client relationships and identifying innovative opportunities to drive asset enhancement.
She will work with Elaine Duffy who leads the department, which advises pension funds, offshore trusts, private investors and property owners.
Tom Dawson joined from GVA and has been recruited as a senior surveyor in the capital markets team, to advise clients on investment sales and acquisitions in the industrial and office sectors.
In the valuations team, University of Salford graduate Jessica Murray has been hired as graduate surveyor. She is working towards her APC professional qualification to achieve RICS chartered status by October.

Knight Frank’s Manchester office in Marsden Street currently includes 34 members of staff and offers property transactional and consultancy services across sectors including offices, retail, leisure, logistics and industrial, hotels and healthcare.
