Knight Frank appoints industrial partner

Sam Royle has joined the firm’s Manchester office as partner in the industrial and logistics team, having left Cushman & Wakefield after three-and-a-half years.

The appointment comes after Rob Taylor, who was industrial partner at Knight Frank for 12 years, joined Cushman & Wakefield in January.

Royle will work at Knight Frank’s Marsden Street office alongside partner Rob Tilley and graduate Bradley Norton. Royle was appointed senior surveyor at Cushman & Wakefield in October 2016, and was promoted to associate two years later.

He said: “This is a huge opportunity for me to join an office that has been involved in some of the largest and most high-profile deals in recent years. There is still lots of pent-up demand from occupiers in this sector and the North West continues to attract new business.”

Knight Frank’s head of office David Porter said: “[Sam] has already made a significant impact in the North West industrial market and we very much look forward to developing this. We have an array of extremely talented and driven people within our business and Sam’s appointment continues to add to this.”
