Kitchen firm moves with Natwest support

Natwest has funded the £930,000 relocation into new premises by kitchen maker and supplier Vision Commercial Kitchens.

Vision relocated from Whitefield to a new 9,000 sq ft base on the Axis Point Business Park in Heywood. The move to a larger site follows several years' growth since it was established in 2002. The business now has a turnover of around £8m.

Vision's national client base includes De Vere Group, Malmaison, Hotel Du Vin and Marriott hotel chains, Leon Restaurants, plus numerous colleges, care homes and garden centres. The company has recently won contracts at Bolton College, Durham University and the 5 star Mandarin Oriental in Knightsbridge, London.

Craig Forrester, joint managing director of Vision Commercial Kitchens, said: "The lack of space at the Whitefield site was a problem and would have restricted our future plans for the business. The new base in Heywood is an ideal solution as it is still close to the motorway network and has sufficient warehousing and office space to support our ongoing strategy."
