Preston developer Kingswood Homes has acquired a three-acre site in Lancashire for the development of 38 homes.
The site at Forton was purchased from Blackburn brewer Thwaites with outline consent in place.
Paul Jones, managing director of Kingswood, said: “Our target is to deliver 70 to 75 properties a year and this site will slot into our build schedule for 2019. It is a great location and we will now work on detailed plans specific for the site to continue our pipeline of high quality bespoke homes.”
Kingswood now employs 24 people from its base at Little Hoole, and recently promoted development manager Andrea Fortune to its board as land and planning director.
The business has partnered with designers Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway at Green Hills in Blackburn, and is also developing two sites in Devon.
Jones added: “Small developers can play an important role in helping deliver the variety of homes that are needed across the UK.”
