King Sturge: North West available industrial space hits high

The North West has 4.3% of available industrial floorspace, according to a report by King Sturge.

The agent's latest UK Industrial and Distribution Floorspace survey said the total amount of space had increased by 0.5% since December 2007 in the UK.

King Sturge said that speculative development within the UK had fallen by 43%, or 7.7m sq ft, in the last six months.

Elsewhere, in Wales, there was 3.9% of available industrial space and 3.4% in Yorkshire and the Humber.
