Kids Planet signs 5,500 sq ft lease in Sale

Altered Space is developing the site at Stanley Square in Sale Town Centre for the children’s day nursery.

When complete in 2022, the building will be able to accommodate 109 children with parking for 21 cars. Kids Planet signed a 30-year lease from completion for the site.

Stanley Square is part of an ongoing £70m regeneration of the former Sale Shopping Centre site, being undertaken by developer Altered Space. The company is working to transform the 60,000 sq ft shopping centre into a mix of restaurants, retail units and 202 homes. The Stanley Square plans also include a six-screen cinema and other leisure spaces. Architect SimpsonHaugh designed the entire project.

The scheme used to be known as “The Square” before being rebranded last year.

Sixteen Real Estate represented Altered Space on the deal as letting agent.

“We are really happy to have agreed this transaction,” said Alex Haigh, director of Sixteen Real Estate. “It is an important part of the ongoing redevelopment of Stanley Square.

“Fronting onto Springfield Road, the site forms a previously underutilised part of the scheme and is an important part of the plans for this mixed-use town centre development.”

We dont need another nursery in Sale! There are too many as it is! This will also cause delays in traffic and more congestion on the roads.
