Kelway signs with Peninsula

Peninsula Business Services has let 11,778 sq ft at The Peninsula office building in Manchester to IT services firm Kelway, relocating to the city centre from Bury.

The deal leaves only one out of the 12 floors at the 147,000 sq ft building vacant. Other occupiers include Peninsula Business Services and Laterooms.

Rob Yates, director at DTZ, advising Peninsula Business Services, said: "The Peninsula is one of the best of Manchester's recent developments. The quality of the accommodation, usability of floorplates and its high profile location all appeal to a number of occupiers who are finding the supply of quality accommodation in Manchester city centre limited due to the lack of new development.

"There is considerable interest in the remaining floor and we anticipate announcing a further letting in the near future."

DTZ and Edwards & Co are letting agents for The Peninsula. The quoting rent is £21.50/sq ft.
