Keepmoat Homes opens Wigan office

Keepmoat Homes has opened an office in Wigan, covering Greater Manchester and projects in East and West Lancashire, and has hired seven recruits as part of a plan to deliver nearly 400 homes over the coming year.

The housebuilder has moved into Beecham Court in Wigan, taking nearly 3,000 sq ft, and 26 staff have now relocated to the new office from Keepmoat’s office in Speke.

Keepmoat has also added seven new staff and plans to create around 20 jobs at the office. New hires include head of technical Keiron Morley; head of construction Martin Leake; and head of commercial Chris Fairhurst.

Current project that will now fall under the Wigan office are Cottonfields at Atherton; Willow Park in Middleton; Lyndon Park in Great Harwood; Riverbank View in Salford; Highgrove Place and Clarence Gardens in Burnley; Connell Gardens in Gorton; and Limehurst Village in Oldham.

The housebuilder has operated in the North West since 2006, but the Wigan office represents its first in Greater Manchester.

In the last year, Keepmoat has delivered 615 across the North West, and plans to build nearly 400 more by March 2018.
