Nelson-based contractor Barnfield Construction has finished work on the 27,800 sq ft office building in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

Kamani Property Group’s Tribeca House is a seven-storey development located on the corner of Dale Street and Little Leaver Street.

Barnfield began work on the scheme in 2019 following planning approval for the Falconer Chester Hall-designed project in 2017.

Tribeca House cost £5.3m to construct, according to Barnfield’s website.

The professional team for the scheme features planner Zerum, heritage consultant Donald Insall Associates, acoustic consultant dBx Acoustics, and CFA Archaeology.

Kamani Property Group is owned by the Kamani family, which operates Boohoo and its associated fashion brands.

Elsewhere in the city, Kamani Property Group is delivering two residential projects in partnership with developer Capital&Centric.

The first, on Swan Street, would comprise 118 apartments within a nine-storey block. Construction of the £34m project has not yet started and the site is currently occupied by restaurants Ramona and Firehouse Manchester.

Kamani is also planning to redevelop Ancoats Works into 193 homes, as first revealed by Place North West.

Ancoats Woirks was previously the subject of plans for a a 65,000 sq ft headquarters for Boohoo-owned fashion label Pretty Little Thing, founded by Kamani Property Group director Adam Kamani and his brother Umar.

Impressive it took nearly 3 years to complete.

Brilliant this. Now if the council could just sort out the pavements and rubbish problem in the Northern Quarter we could have an excellent area of the city. I am surprised the Kamani family arnt putting pressure on them t do so with all the money they have personally invested.

“All the money they have personally invested”. Boohoo/PLT have benefited from hundreds of thousands of public funding support. Their deals with C&C are to allow them to get cheap/free public cash for development too
