JW Lees acquires Llandudno pub

The Old Station Hotel in Llandudno, North Wales, has been acquired by JW Lees in a deal worth in the region of £500,000.

The specialist licensed and leisure division of Colliers International was instructed to sell the landmark public house on Conway Road by previous operator Spirit Group.

Manchester-based JW Lees has acquired the pub as a going concern and plans to retain most of the existing staff.

Colliers director Colin Siebert said: "This is the latest in a series of pub sales we've achieved in North Wales in 2013 and although the market remains tough, we are still attracting buyers for the right product at the right price."
