Johnson Controls agrees 150,000 sq ft pre-let

B8 Real Estate has completed a deal on behalf of CDP Marshall to build a distribution and manufacturing facility in South Liverpool for Johnson Controls Automotive.

Johnson Controls has signed up to a 150,000 sq ft facility at The Hive in Estuary Business Park, Speke. The facility will be completed in early 2014 and is linked to Johnson Controls supply contract to the Jaguar Land Rover facility at Halewood.

Howard George, partner at B8 Real Estate, said: "The deal, which was agreed in less than three months including granting of full planning consent, was achieved through the willingness of both parties and the co-operation of Liverpool City Council."

The development area forms part of the 25-acre Hive site in Estuary Business Park owned by CDP Marshall. An additional 16 acres is available for further development.
