JOB: Mechanical Engineer, Birchwood

We are seeking a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to add to our experienced contracting team. Preferably qualified to minimum HND level in building services or mechanical engineering, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate first class technical knowledge backed up by excellent commercial awareness and the ability to interact effectively with clients, architects and sub-contractors.

Working closely with the senior team, responsibilities will include: lead HVAC mechanical services design and specification; mechanical design project management and co-ordination of sub-contractor information.

The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of activities including: contributing to design team meetings; maintenance of accurate project documentation; conducting site surveys; contractor monitoring and report compilation. We also expect this role to be client facing; assisting in the preparation of fee proposals, project bids and presentations in support of the directors. Applicants will be highly organised & proactive with an excellent eye for detail, a knowledge of CAD would be preferable. Clean driving licence required. Salary negotiable.
