JOB | Building Surveyor
Manchester, up to £35,000 p.a
Our client is a well established property development company with an immediate vacancy for a MRICS Building Surveyor to be based in their Manchester office.
The successful candidate will ideally have circa 2 – 4+ years experience in the commercial property sector and be able to demonstrate a broad range of technical skills.
This role will include initial building surveys, writing of specifications, reviewing existing leases and properties within the portfolio, appointing contractors and project managing works through to completion.
There will also be responsibility for dilapidation schedules, ensuring that tenants adhere to lease covenants and Condition Surveys/strategic life cycle appraisals.
Required Skills
- Good all round experience and knowledge of building projects particularly within the commercial sector
- Excellent client facing skills
- 2 – 4+ years experience
