Burnley Brand Manager

Grade 13 £36,676 to £39,351

36.25 hours per week

Burnley has opened a new chapter in its history following a recent announcement that it is officially the 'Most Enterprising Area in the UK' in 2013. The accolade, awarded through the Government Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, recognises and celebrates the range of business, enterprise and economic development work that has reshaped Burnley's reputation. The town has benefitted from £500 million pounds of investment in schools, infrastructure and business facilities, has had recent employment growth of 6.5%, and is home to a world class Aerospace and Advanced engineering sector set amidst beautiful Pennine countryside.

But we are not complacent. Burnley Council and its 120 private sector Bondholders are looking for someone to help us to develop our brand and to tell our story and inform more people why they have reason to be excited about Burnley's future.

If you have substantial experience in place branding or destination marketing, are a self-starter with creative flair and have the ability to build alliances we would like to hear from you.
