JOB | Associate Director / Development Manager

South Manchester

from £45k + Bonus / commission

The Role

We are seeking a candidate to join our growing residential and commercial development team. You will be working towards bringing fully owned portfolio of prime sites in Manchester to deliver major schemes and to take them through the planning and pre-development process. You will be working directly for the senior Director with variety of responsibilities to include management of external consultants, planning application process, development viability, acquisitions and marketing.

Maryland Securities Group is a major privately owned property investment & development company based in South Manchester with over 3 decades track record in the industry. We own a £40m diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties throughout the North West England with low gearing. Throughout the years the company has maintained a record of continuous growth and profitability with a pipeline of over £300m of development projects in the North West.

The Person

Requirements:

  • Experienced in bringing sites to the construction stage, Qualification / tertiary in the property sector or graduate preferred but not essential if having specific relevant experience as per the above. The candidate may also be a town planner preferably with client side experience.
  • Be within easy commuting distance of Manchester
  • Good organisational skills.

A clean driving licence and car ownership is essential for which a mileage allowance will be paid.

The Rewards

This role attracts a basic salary of from £45,000 plus (negotiable depending of relevant experience) per annum, plus + bonus/commission. Competitive Package to suit the best
