The property consultancy has been appointed to manage all commercial space at Liverpool’s Albert Dock on behalf of Aberdeen Asset Management.
Aberdeen acquired the leasehold for the dock estate earlier this year from Arrowcroft, for £42.75m. Albert Dock Company, trading as Gower Street Estates, retained the freehold.
The 19th-Century dock is made up of the largest collection of grade one-listed buildings in the country and includes 400,000 sq ft of hotel, leisure, retail and office accommodation.
In addition to the Tate Liverpool, occupiers include Holiday Inn, Premier Inn, The Beatles Story, Gusto, and Miller & Carter.
As part of the contract, JLL is managing leases at Albert Dock and will establish an on-site presence for occupier enquiries.
JLL’s building consultancy division has also been appointed to deliver a refurbishment contract for seven commercial units at the site.
Savills will continue to act on behalf of Gower Street Estates on the external areas within the site.
