JLL recruits one graduate in Manchester

Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed one new graduate, Jamie Bottomley, in Manchester.

Bottomley completed a BA in land economy at Cambridge University in 2002, followed by a seven year career with the Armed Forces and is now currently undertaking an MSc masters degree in real estate finance and investment at Reading University.

He will undertake three placements during his training period with the firm and is currently working in the valuations team.

Jones Lang LaSalle has recruited 18 graduates in total in 2010, with a majority occupying places in London, two in Scotland, and one in Birmingham.

There were ten graduates in total taken on by Jones Lang LaSalle in 2009, but none of those were based in Manchester.

Peter Lees, head of Jones Lang LaSalle's Manchester office, said: "The quality of applicants was once again high and we are delighted that this year's graduate intake was more than double that of last year. It is important that we have young talent coming into the business so that we have a great platform for future success as the markets continue to recover.

"We remain committed to providing the best possible training to ensure all our graduates have the opportunity to fully develop their skills and experience, which will enable them to successfully sit the APC Final Assessment."
