Property consultant JLL has promoted 13 of its North West surveyors across eight specialist areas, as part of a national wave of 60 promotions.

In the building and construction team, Robert Critchley, Chris Wilman and Matthew Benton have all been promoted to associate director.

Lee Watts from the valuations team and Robert Hogarth from the residential team also become associate directors.

Tom Powell, from the out of town retail and leisure team becomes a local director, Alistair Greenhalgh becomes a senior vice president in the hotels and hospitality group, and Lucy Davies, senior surveyor for property and asset management.

Jessica Spears was promoted to property manager in the retail management team.

David Lathwood, head of JLL in the North West, said: "Our firm is the biggest in Manchester and this latest round of promotions confirms that we are helping to develop some of the best talent in the North West.

"We're in the enviable position of being able to draw upon experts from across a wide range of disciplines who are based in the region and have a native understanding of the local market. This means we can field strong teams of on-the-ground specialists rather than having to call in consultants from elsewhere in our network."
