JLL expands in Liverpool

Jones Lang LaSalle has increased the size of its office in the city, taking an additional 1,580 sq ft at 42 Castle Street.

The property firm, which merged with King Sturge in June 2011, has had a presence in the city since 1998 and now occupies a total of 3,205 sq ft.

Helen Moss, head of the agency team in Liverpool, said: "Despite market conditions, increasing the size of our office space is a reflection of the team's ongoing success. Whilst the commercial market is still challenging, we are seeing increased levels of activity.

"In the office market there are a number of sizeable requirements and enquiries are creeping back up to pre-2008 levels. Equally, the industrial market has seen the big-box, new-build and good quality stock erode and we expect to see build-to-suit solutions on the well located, developer controlled sites across Merseyside, that are geared up to deliver buildings efficiently and quickly."

Jones Lang LaSalle employs 15 people in Liverpool working across commercial and residential in development consultancy, public sector consultancy, industrial and logistics, office and residential agency, commercial and residential valuation and building consultancy, including project management.
