JLL appoints director for hotels team

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels has appointed Chris Moore as a director to lead its UK licensed leisure and hotels team and will be based in Manchester.

Moore, who joins from Colliers International after 21 years with the firm, is being briefed by JLL to grow the firm's regional hotels business.

With a sector specialist team based in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow, JLL said Moore will focus on developing the breadth of its service to clients across the hospitality space.

Jon Hubbard, managing director for Northern Europe at Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, said: "With over 25 years' hotels experience, Chris has an excellent reputation across the industry and his expertise and long standing track record will enhance our already strong offering to our clients."

"He will be instrumental in driving growth to the regional hotel and licensed leisure sectors where he will work closely with Harry Hawksby and Keith McBain who lead the English and Scottish Licensed Leisure teams respectively, and with the core Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Northern European Hotel team based in London. His appointment comes at a time when there are strong signs of improved liquidity in the market, as investors and lenders seek to move forward after two difficult years."

Jones Lang LaSalle launched its national licensed leisure and hotels team in 2009 which provides sales, lettings, acquisition, valuation, development and restructuring advice across licensed and leisure property including restaurants, pubs, hotels and golf courses.
