ISG / CWAC construction supply chain open day

ISG is holding an open day next week in partnership with Cheshire West & Chester Council and Mid Cheshire College to offer firms the chance to learn more about trade packages available on three new fire station projects.

ISG has been appointed as preferred contractor for three new fire stations for Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service with a combined project value of over £12m, procured via the North West Construction Hub framework.

The three fire stations will be in Lymm, Penketh and on Powey Lane, Mollington close to the M56, with the first project set to start in autumn 2015.

A spokesman for ISG said: “The suppliers for M&E and training towers have been confirmed however we would still love to speak to regional businesses about the opportunities to work with these suppliers and also to discuss other regional projects.

“Representatives from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service will also be available to answer questions on the projects along with Mid Cheshire College to discuss local training initiatives. Cheshire West and Chester Council are supporting the event and will also be on hand to discuss other opportunities in the area.”

The event is due to take place on Wednesday 19 August 2015 from 8am to 12:30pm at Mid Cheshire College in Winsford.
