Ink manufacturer INX International UK has secured planning consent to build a new facility in Rochdale.
Advised by Indigo Planning, the consent allows INX International to develop 40,000 sq ft at Hareshill Distribution Park in Heywood.
Currently based at the Transpennine Trading Estate in Rochdale, INX International will relocate to the new premises when its current lease expires in 2013. The new unit will be 75% larger than its current building and will keep 68 jobs in the area as well as opening up the possibility of new positions in the future.
Nick Fillingham, associate at Indigo Planning, said: "Hareshill Distribution Park's location, transport links and the opportunity to own and occupy the site were important considerations for INX International and secures its future in Rochdale. Expansion here will ensure local jobs stay in the area as well as providing more positions as the company grows."
INX International is also advised by Preston O'Herlihy and CAD Architecture.
