Investment agents set up on own

Mark Powell and James Kinsler, formerly of Manchester based-investment agency Christopher Dee, have departed to launch their own agency, PK3.

PK3 will operate in the commercial property investment market, and will remain based in Manchester, while advising across the UK on sales, acquisitions, portfolio transactions and general consultancy.

Powell started his career at Atisreal, now BNP Paribas Real Estate in 2005, and has since spent the last 14 years at Christopher Dee.

Kinsler began his career at GVA Grimley in 2008, before moving to Cushman & Wakefield and latterly Christopher Dee in 2016.

Between them, they said they have advised private clients, property companies and institutional clients on more than 500 transactions across the industrial, office, retail, supermarket, ground rent and alternative sectors on deals from £1m to more than £120m.

Powell said: “We are both very excited to start this new venture together. Whilst there are challenging times ahead for our sector, we recognise that through adversity comes opportunity.

“We will continue to work closely with our former colleagues at Christopher Dee and thank them for their support and a very enjoyable time together, but it felt a natural progression to go our separate ways. We have a number of joint agency projects over the next six months and we look forward to delivering these together.”
