Innov8 recruits director from First Ark

Construction advisor Innov8 has appointed David Jones as director of site safety services.

Jones joined from First Ark, a subsidiary of Knowsley Housing Trust, where he was group health, safety and environment advisor. Jones has also worked for Travis Perkins, Marshside, Lilly and Innospec.

Innov8 has offices in Manchester and Liverpool, delivering construction design management and site safety services.

Innov8 managing director Alan Robson said there has been a surge in demand for its site safety and management services, which now account for 40% of total sales. The division has secured more than £100,000 in sales in the last 12 months with contracts rolled out across the UK.

Robson said: "We have worked hard to build our profile and presence around the UK. This has resulted in new contracts across commercial developments, health-care, maritime and education sectors. Further sales have been secured in repair and refurbishments projects.

Innov8 now employs 10 staff.
