Inner City Solutions announces team promotions
Regeneration consultancy Inner City Solutions has made two promotions and recruited an additional member of staff within its Liverpool and Manchester offices.
Mark Gilbertson, who is based in the Liverpool office, has been promoted to associate director. He has over ten years experience within economic regeneration and has led on the delivery of a number of employment and enterprise programmes across the North West, and was recently part a team which helped Balfour Beatty Education secure a £450m Building Schools for the Future programme contract with Blackburn with Darwen and Bolton councils.
In Manchester, Simon Borkin has been promoted to senior consultant and Beth Morgans has been recruited as a consultant.
Borkin joined Inner City Solutions in 2008 and is currently involved in a range of evaluation projects and funding applications. Morgans previously worked at inward investment agency Midas, where she gained experience of working with development agencies, local authorities and private sector clients. Both are graduates of the University of Manchester.
Inner City Solutions said all the roles are new ones.
Marie Hodgson, director in the Manchester office said: "Inner City Solutions continues to thrive in the North West. The whole team has achieved exceptional results over the last twelve months. The promotions and additional skills will continue to provide our clients with access to one of the largest dedicated regeneration teams in the North West at a time when strategic knowledge and practical application is essential if the public and private sector are to deliver with less cash available."
