Indoor adventure facility opens in Snowdonia
The £4m Adrenaline Indoors has opened to the public at Adventure Parc Snowdonia, as part of a larger £16m investment by owner Ainscough Group.
The 13,000 sq ft space joins the 58-acre Adventure Parc Snowdonia’s other facilities, including the world’s first inland surf lagoon.
Adrenaline Indoors features one of the UK’s longest artificial caving systems, indoor and outdoor climbing, racing walls, leaps of faith, stunt jumps, slides, and a kicker flight slide.
Ainscough is both the developer and investor in Adventure Parc Snowdonia. The development of Adrenaline Indoors also received a funding contribution from the Welsh Government. The contractor was HH Smith & Sons, with Hangfast and Play Revolution supplying the internal equipment. WCP Associates is the project managers and the architect was Pozzoni Architects.
The ongoing development at the site is also set to include Wales’ first Hilton Garden Inn, a wellness spa with indoor and outdoor treatment area, and a conference centre, which are all due to open in 2020.
This looks great! Very innovative. Hopefully it will do well.
