Iceni Projects appoints graduates to planning team

The property advisory firm has hired Lucy Furber and Olivia Bostock as assistant planners in their first consultancy roles, bringing the team up to seven members of staff in Manchester.

Furber is a first-class Geography & Planning graduate of Cardiff University and alongside her work for Iceni she is studying an MSc in Urban Regeneration & Development at the University of Manchester.

Furber is working on a 24-hour gym at the Matchbox in Liverpool for Urban Splash, a site appraisal for a 350-unit student accommodation development in Lancashire, and will support the team on representations for strategic land sites in Cheshire.

Bostock has recently completed her MSc in Urban & Regional Planning at the University of Birmingham after graduating from Leeds Beckett with an undergraduate degree in Human Geography.

Murray Graham, planning director, said: “We have appointed two energetic and ambitious planners who match Iceni Project’s aspirations as we continue to grow and expand our strategic advisory offer to the planning and development sector.

“This is definitely an exciting time for Iceni Projects as we approach our first anniversary in Manchester.”

The Manchester office has recently secured planning consent for two separate family housing developments in central Manchester for Watch This Space and continue to be retained by Urban Splash on a number of projects across the North West.

Iceni launched its Manchester office in 2016 and has two other offices in Glasgow and London respectively.
