Hydrock expands transport expertise

Engineering consultant Hydrock has appointed Neville McKenzie as transportation director in its Manchester office.

McKenzie joined from JMP Consultants and has more than 16 years' experience providing transport planning and highways advice to private and public sector clients for a wide range of developments, including large scale mixed-use regeneration sites requiring the design and assessment of significant highway infrastructure.

He was previously the lead development control consultant to the Highways Agency in the North West.

McKenzie will be based in Spinningfields but will also provide support to Hydrock's office in Hale, Cheshire, which offers civil, structural, geotechnical engineering, flood risk and transportation services.

Hydrock has 400 employees, operating from 16 offices across the UK.
