LPC Living is due to complete the latest project in its £100m regeneration of Ordsall by January, and said the private rental scheme is proving popular after all flats in the first phase were reserved within 24 hours of market launch.
Located close to Salford Quays, Gladwin Gardens is situated off Trafford Road within LPC’s Hulton Square estate, and will be made up of 59 units in a mix of two and three bedroom apartments and townhouses.
Construction on the first phase of 26 apartments is due to finish later this month, while the final 33 units at Gladwin Gardens will complete in January 2017.
Also in January, LPC is due to finish On The Park, a mix of 40 townhouses and duplexes, also within the Hulton Square regeneration area.
The first phase of Gladwin Gardens was launched to the market last week, and according to LPC the developer received 200 enquiries for the 26 flats, and all were reserved by tenants within a day.
The architect is Falconer Chester Hall.
Simon Ashdown, director of LPC, said: “The demand for good quality homes in the area is phenomenal, before arranging a formal launch and in a matter of days, we had taken over 200 enquiries from prospective tenants.
“As soon as we could allow access into the building to facilitate viewings, prospective tenants snapped up all the apartments. Due to this demand we have started an early bird list for people interested in subsequent phases.”
The project sits within the Ordsall development framework, which was created in 2006 to regenerate one of the most deprived areas in the UK. Under the partnership with Salford City Council, LPC Living, owned by the Pervaiz Naviede Family Trust, was appointed as the exclusive developer for an area of 180-acres between Salford Quays and Manchester city centre.
