Hudson to leave Savills for new Curson Sowerby office

Savills' Manchester retail director, Craig Hudson, will leave the company at the end of July to launch a new base in the city for retail agency Curson Sowerby.

Sean Gillies, head of national retail at Savills, said: "Craig has been a valuable member of the out-of-town retail team for almost 15 years and we wish him all the best for the future."

Curson Sowerby advises on retail warehousing across the UK, with clients including British Land, F&C REIT, CBRE Global Investors and retailers Topps Tiles, Whole Foods and Pets at Home. The head office is in London.

Hudson will leave Savills on 18 July, with the new Curson Sowerby office expected to be operational in August.

Curson Sowerby declined to comment on specific plans for the Manchester office at this stage.
