HOW Planning expands team

Manchester-based HOW Planning has made two new appointments and announced three promotions at the company.

Both Lucinda Pickworth and Nik Lomax join the consultancy as graduate planners. Pickworth graduated from Manchester University with a master of planning degree in December last year and joins from Bury Council. Lomax will complete his masters degree this year and has gained work experience during a placement with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Jon Suckley, who has been at HOW for five years, has been promoted to associate, while Richard Barton moves into a principal planner role and Elizabeth Lees has been promoted to senior environmental consultant.

Gary Halman, partner at HOW Planning, said: "We have a strong company vision, which includes a commitment to the training and development of young professionals.

"Over the past few years we have grown steadily working to a company strategy which includes ambitious targets for the future. We've got a very strong team in place which is further enhanced by these announcements and will help us achieve our long term aims."
