HOW expands with planner hire

Manchester-based HOW Planning has appointed Jon Power as senior planner, following three years working on projects in Melbourne, Australia.

Power has more than eight years of planning experience, and while in Melbourne advised Urbis and Urban Enterprise. He was previously based in Manchester and worked for Drivers Jonas Deloitte.

He will be part of HOW’s growing planning team on large-scale residential and mixed-use developments.

HOW has also hired Hilary Brett as principal environmental consultant.

The total number of people employed by the company is now 27.

We are planning for our future and both Jon and Hilary will play key roles in the continued growth of the company as we look to expand in both the planning and environmental sectors.”
