Housing group awards £2m insurance contract
Preston-based social housing provider Community Gateway Association has awarded a £2.4m package of contracts to specialist insurance broker Arthur J Gallagher Housing.
Multiple insurers will be used for a £1.95m general insurance contract over five years, via Arthur J Gallagher Housing, including UK Insurance, QBE, AIG, Aviva, Allianz, certain syndicates within Lloyds of London, ARAG and ACE.
The second contract for insuring motor vehicle risks including legal expenses and occasional business use extensions was worth £412,000, awarded to Allianz via Arthur J Gallagher Housing and also for five years.
An engineering inspection contract was awarded to Zurich Municipal and valued at £24,000.
Community Gateway Association was set up in 2005 through stock transfer from Preston City Council.
