Home Office takes space in Huyton

Knight Frank has let a 10,500 sq ft office building in Merseyside to the Home Office.

The government department will occupy the two-storey Poplar Bank building in Huyton on a 10-year lease. The rent was not disclosed.

Knight Frank associate Paul Kelly said: "Poplar House offers modern self-contained quality office accommodation and is ideally suited to the requirements of the Home Office. We are pleased to have been able to secure the disposal of Poplar House on behalf of our client."

The agent was acting for Dublin-based landlord Bramspear.

Bramspear's Daniel O'Brien said: "We are delighted to have worked with Knight Frank in securing the letting of Poplar House and with the professional manner in which it was handled throughout."

The Home Office was advised by DTZ.
