Hire Station signs in Runcorn

The commercial supplier of plant, tools and safety equipment has signed a ten-year lease on a 6,000 sq ft industrial unit in Jensen Court owned by Urban Waterside.

Hire Station has 87 branches nationwide and is part of the Vp group of companies. The firm has taken the premises on a full repairing lease at £4/sq ft.

The letting was secured by the Manchester office of Colliers International on behalf of Urban Waterside, the privately-owned Cheshire-based property developer and manager and owner of Jensen Court.

Howard Hagan, the managing director of Urban Waterside, said: "The letting to Hire Station demonstrates that occupiers will be attracted to a scheme which offers a quality product at the right price and on the right terms."

Jensen Court is a 70,000 sq ft industrial estate which has been comprehensively refurbished by Urban Waterside and offers a range of units from 5,000 sq ft up to 15,000 sq ft. Occupiers include Cargill Flavors, Hyloc, David Stearne Pharmacies, A A Glover and NBC Group.

Joint letting agents for Jensen Court are P3 Property Consultants.
