Hines refreshes Landmark consent

Planning permission has been renewed for the 175,000 sq ft office building proposed by a joint venture between US developer Hines and family-owned Manchester & Metropolitan Properties.

The 14-storey office building, to be called Landmark, will not be built until pre-let deals are agreed with the first occupiers.

The block designed by Squire & Partners will replace the former Odeon Cinema in Oxford Street and sit alongside the new One St Peter's Square office for KPMG currently under construction.

The development will be Hines' first in Manchester.
