Himor reports steady deals tally

Himor Group's industrial estates Bradley Hall Trading Estate in Standish and Engineer Park in Sandycroft have welcomed 15 small companies since the start of 2012.

Tenants including Oxyplast UK, Digital Wrap Solutions and Game Changer Systems have moved onto the estates, contributing 20,000 sq ft to take-up between them.

Paul Wrigglesworth, head of property at Himor, said: "These lettings demonstrate that we are very much open for business. We have recently announced that we are considering re-developing the older sections of our Standish estate for housing, but one of the key drivers behind this is to allow us to invest in the retained trading estate.

"The small and medium sized businesses are the lifeblood of the estates. For some it is their first foray into commercial property, so it is critical that we keep the process as simple and flexible as possible. Due to the number of units on our estates we are able to offer customers larger premises as their businesses grow, so many stay for years. With over 110 tenants at Bradley Hall and 35 at Engineer Park, new tenants often find they are able to win new business simply by being close to other complimentary companies."
