HIMOR prepares for Carrington launch

Developer and investor HIMOR has added two new staff to its ranks as it prepares to increase activity in 2016.

The land promotion team has been strengthened by the arrival of Matt Whiteley, who joins HIMOR from Peter Brett Associates, where he spent seven years working as a senior associate.

Whiteley’s role at HIMOR will be focused primarily on the Future Carrington project, where HIMOR is working in partnership with Trafford Council to develop a vision for a large mixed-use community on the former Shell processing site. A planning application for the first phase of residential and employment development is expected to be submitted in spring of this year.

Mark Hope joined the finance team from Sharman Multicom, an importer and exporter of two-way radios, in Manchester.

Will Ainscough, managing director of HIMOR, said: “This is a really exciting time for HIMOR, as we grow we add more experience and knowledge to our professional team based in Carrington. We welcome Matt and Mark and all look forward to a busy and productive 2016.”

HIMOR employs 13 people and is based at Carrington Business Park.
