HIMOR completes commercial lettings

HIMOR Group has reported a series of commercial lettings in Manchester and Bramhall.

Office interior and fit-out specialist Spatial Office Environments picked Clarence House in Clarence Street for its new Manchester office and showroom. The newcomer joined tenants Saunders Partnership, Applied Card Technologies, Infinity Asset Management along with landlord HIMOR.

Spatial Office Environments took a 1,216 sq ft first-floor suite on a six-year lease. Phil Simmonds, managing director of Spatial Office Environments, said: "Following our decision to set up in the heart of Manchester, Clarence House stood out as the place to be; a perfect location matched by the quality of the refurbishment. Combining a period exterior with character and an interior with a modern twist it was ideal for our new office furniture and partitioning showroom."

Meanwhile at the Village Square in Bramhall, a new Sainsbury's Local is due to open today. Modern Nails has chosen to open its second branch, in addition to its Didsbury salon. The company has taken a 1,700 sq ft retail unit on a 10-year lease.

In addition, Jinkinson Opticians is relocating and expanding within the Village Square, signing a new lease on larger premises. Jinkinson Opticians has been established in the square for more than 25 years.

Paul Wrigglesworth, associate director at HIMOR, said: "Manchester & Cheshire Construction have done a fantastic job working at the Square. With the playground now open and the refurbishment almost complete we are receiving a very healthy level of enquiries in the remaining space. With a couple more units under offer these are exciting times for the Square. We always felt there was huge potential in Bramhall, so it is rewarding to see that being realised now."

Cheetham & Mortimer and Buckley & Co represented HIMOR in Bramhall. CBRE and OBI Property represented HIMOR at Clarence House.
