Hilton subsidiary hires new business development manager
Manchester-based Hilton Ventures, the PLUS-listed bridging finance provider, has recruited a Jonathan Bassey to its subsidiary, Hilton Ventures Finance.
Bassey joins from a similar position at Bristol & West Investments. He also worked as head of commercial underwriting at Loanoptions.co.uk.
Graham Alcock, chairman of Hilton Ventures, commented: "Jonathan brings an extensive network of contacts in the broker and IFA community to Hilton. He will work under our recently appointed head of lending, Andy Eames, and together they will develop the visibility of the company to the market and look to increase our loan book in line with our targets."
Bassey added: "We are seeing a significant increase in business opportunities as the squeeze on credit facilities in the high street tightens. Hilton is a business that is in the right place at the right time and definitely going places."
The PLUS market is an independent junior stock exchange for small companies and is often seen as the nursery for the Alternative Investment Market on the London Stock Exchange.
