HIG picks agents for Grosvenor

Cushman & Wakefield and Lambert Smith Hampton have been appointed as the joint letting agents on Grosvenor Shopping Centre in Chester by new owner HIG Capital.

HIG Capital and Bride Hall Real Estate Partners acquired the 200,000 sq ft shopping centre from The Carlyle Group and Bride Hall for £65.05m, reflecting a net initial yield of 6.35%, in May of this year. Bride Hall remains instructed as the asset and development manager.

The Grosvenor Shopping Centre is occupied by Topshop, H&M, TK Maxx and Debenhams among others.

Nicola Harrington, associate at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “This is a significant, high profile instruction for us and means that as a team, we are now the retained letting agents for four out of the five top retail centres in the North West.”

Lambert Smith Hampton acquired retail agency Tushingham Moore in April.
