Hermes eyes expansion in Omega

Hermes Parcelnet is in talks to expand into a 2.9-acre site next to its distribution depot at Omega North in Warrington.

The parcel delivery service occupies a 153,000 sq ft unit on an 18-acre site at Lockheed Road.

The adjacent plot of land at 1 Lockheed Road is one of the last vacant sites at Omega North and has outline planning consent for light industrial uses. The space could accommodate a unit of up to 70,000 sq ft.

GVA and JLL are the joint letting agents at Omega. Aherne Property Consultants advises Hermes.

Omega Warrington works in partnership with landowner the Homes & Communities Agency and is supported by Warrington Council and the Cheshire & Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership.

All parties declined or were unavailable to comment.
