Henri Lloyd buildings up for grabs
Sanderson Weatherall has been appointed to market the former offices and warehouse of sailing brand Henri Lloyd, which went into administration in June.
The properties are both located on the Smithfold Lane Industrial Estate in Worsley, Salford, offering access to the A6, which runs parallel to the M61. The 42,500 sq ft warehouse facility is already under offer with Sanderson Weatherall expecting to complete in the next couple of months.
The second property is a two-storey hybrid building with offices, showrooms, design studios and storage totalling 21,770 sq ft – it is available to buy at the asking price of £900,000, or for rent at £90,000 per year.
SW said that the plot size of 1.11 acres provides potential for further expansion or development, and the building currently has 65 parking spaces.
David Murray, partner in SW’s Manchester office, said: “These properties present a fantastic business opportunity for potential owner-occupiers or investors seeking space in an established industrial estate.
“The hybrid property is a great size and suitable for a range of different uses and we expect to receive significant interest.”
Henri Lloyd was founded in 1963 by Henri Strzelecki and Angus Lloyd. The brand will be relaunched next year by Swedish group Aligro, which bought the brand and trademarks in March.
